World's Fair, George Anton on Flushing Bay from Kalim Armstrong on Vimeo.

A film by Kalim Armstrong. On an small house boat in Flushing Bay, George Anton lives with his wife and son. He spends his days building model boats under the shadow of LaGuardia airport. Mr. Anton lives on his boat because, to him, it represents freedom. He left Communist Romania to come to America and create a new life for himself and his family. Facing an eviction from the City of New York, Mr. Anton guards his boat and does not leave the marina. In his quest for freedom, George Anton has become a prisoner on his boat. World's Fair is a portrait of a man living in a fading New York City - a city of possibility, freedom, and beauty.
